We took the boys to their first hockey game Friday night. The boys were enamored with those big hockey boys skating so fast. I think they could appreciate it because just last week we were ice skating... and that is HARD! Of course Finn thought the Zamboni was the coolest "tractor" ever.

Notre Dame just opened the new Compton Ice Arena in October. It was fun for Sean and me to see because they were working on it when we came out here to find a house last July. Sean told me the Compton Family built this stadium after their son graduated from ND in 2010. He told them how they had to stand outside waiting in the cold to get into the old hockey stadium (he wasn't a hockey player). Coincidentally his family owns the San Jose Sharks...
