3 months old
I can't believe Finn is 3 months old! He's at a really fun age now. He's becoming more social; talking and smiling at us and anticipating being picked up. He rolls like a pro now too, flipping over every time I give him tummy time. He's still a very good baby, although he is getting more set in his ways (not drinking from a bottle at any cost) and more vocal (meaning, I want to eat NOW, not when you get around to it). He has continued to be a great sleeper... the last two nights he slept 8 1/2 hours at a time! Hope I didn't just jinx that...

kindergarten poster
One of the kindergarten classes at my mom's school drew pictures and made this poster for Sean and the team. The kids were so cute with what they wrote and drew for the guys. I asked Sean to take a picture of himself and a few others with the poster, so I could send it to the kindergarten class. He outdid himself and rounded up some of his team and another team to take this picture after a mission. The kids are going to be so excited to see that their poster made it!

enjoying the nice weather
I had to bribe Cullen to get him to stand that close to the glass. Now why would he be so scared of a gorilla?! Could it be b/c of a Halloween mask??
We picked a great day to go to the zoo. All the animals were out enjoying the nice weather. The mama monkey came right up to us at the glass, the gorilla was eating "salad" according to Cullen, and the bear cubs were wrestling. Cullen (whose super-human strength is his insane sense of smell) hated the hippo house; he thought it was too stinky. In fact, he remembered it and didn't even want to go inside (but I talked him into it).
Here's another little Cullen story-- We were watching Scooby Doo the other day and Scooby gave Shaggy some of his Scooby Snacks; to which Cullen said- "Good Scooby, nice sharing." It's amazing what they pick up and repeat.
At any given time you can hear Cullen say- "that's ridiculous" or "Mommy, I'm mad" (Usually with a shake of the head and an exaggerated sigh.) Lately I've been telling him to use his words, instead of crying or whining... He sure is growing up!

can you tell me how to get...
I ventured out and took the boys to Sesame Street Live this afternoon. Cullen had fun, Finn not so much... Cullen even got up and danced in the aisle. Before we left to go, I told him we were going to see Sesame Street and he asked if we were going with Noah. Several months ago we saw the Sesame Street show on post with Noah and Natalie. I was surprised he remembered.

Aunt Meghan's House
Cullen was so excited to continue on with his busy week by seeing his Grandma, Grandpa, Aunt Meghan, and Uncle Johnny on Saturday. He insisted on Meghan and Grandpa playing ball with him in the backyard. Grandma was off the hook- she was busy holding Finn. I think he was still running on pure sugar from the night before!
