GG is 90! Baby's Gender Cake Reveal...

Grandma with her 5 kids/The cousins (missing Dustin and Alex).

Grandma riding on Frank's (her nephew) Harley sidecar!

Frank giving Adah and Cullen a ride!  They loved it and told all their friends at school! :)
When I asked what their teachers said, Cullen said "I wish you wore a helmet."  Oops. :)

Arley and Finn's turn!!

Frank also goes to his local hospital and gives kids with brain tumors rides.

Singing Happy Birthday to GG!  Wow, 90!

Time to cut the cake...  Are we adding a boy or girl to our family?

Everyone's reaction..... :)

It's a BOY!
Yes, BOYS are us!  Our blessings come in blue!  :)  We are excited and definitely know what to expect with another little guy around!  Poor Finn was not as excited and let us know.  He really wanted a sister.  He had it in his mind that he would have a little sister to be a cheerleader and cheer him and Cullen on at their flag football games.  Ha!  I have a feeling he'll come around...  The good news is, baby boy looks healthy and is even measuring a few weeks ahead.  His estimated weight at (almost) 20 weeks was 15 oz... they normally don't weight that much until around 23 weeks.  Maybe he'll be a big boy!?!

We had a great day celebrating my wonderful grandma's 90th birthday.  She's such a blessing to our family.  And it's wonderful that she's in such great health!  I don't know of too many others that celebrate 90 with a motorcycle ride around the block...

Sporting KC Soccer Game

The boys on the sideline, watching the team warm up.

Watching the game with cousins!

Having dinner and Shirley Temples before the game. :)

On the sideline.

Finn watching the game with Papa.

Sean and Chris, the Executive VP of Operations.  He organizes the introduction of Soldiers and gave Sean a coin.

The team was warming up so close!  Cullen was in awe!

Being introduced onto the field before the National Anthem.

Cullen was nervous and told us he was going to be embarrassed. :)

Sold out crowd.

During the National Anthem.

This blog is about a month late now.... Sporting KC recognizes one child with cancer and one military family each home game.  Our brother in law, Josh passed along our names to Chris at Sporting KC, as a local military family that could be recognized.  Chris contacted us right away and we were on the field a few weeks later.  It was a lot of fun!

We were able to eat in the fancy VIP area.  The boys downed as many Cherry Coke's and Shirley Temples as they could.  Then we headed onto the field sideline to watch the players warm up.  Cullen was in awe!  He didn't talk much and would take his eyes off of them. :)  Chris presented us with the scarves to wear and gave Sean the military coin.  Then just before the game the announcer introduced the kid with cancer and his family up in the box seats.  Then we walked out onto the field and the announcer announced our names and Sean's bio.  It was pretty exciting and nice to hear the crowd cheer.  :)

We then headed back into the VIP area to get more drinks before we headed to our seats.  Chris was kind enough to give tickets to my parents and the Anderson's.  Courtney and Josh came over and sat with us too.  It was so much fun!  It was such a fun night and a great memory, thanks again Josh!!

Back to School!

Cullen is now a 2nd Grader and Finn is in his last year of preschool.  I'm so proud of my resilient little boys!  They both hopped right out of the car on the first day. I pray they both find some great friends and love their year here with cousins.

Cullen has Mrs. Roth, I think she'll be a great fit for Cullen. At Meet the Teacher night, she made it a point to bring other boys over to Cullen, so he knew a few names on the first day.

Finn has Ms. Julie and Ms. Bridget. Julie was a friend of my sister's when she worked there years ago. She's great with the little ones. Finn even made a nice friend, Ty. Ty hugged Finn a few times when I was there.

I think it will be a great year for them!
