Happy Halloween!

Forget spidey, check out my muscles!!

Mommy's little superheros...

It's funny to see Cullen sitting so still...

Finn's first Halloween

Happy Halloween Daddy! We miss you. Love, Cullen and Finn

trunk or treat round 2

For some reason, when given the chance, Cullen goes for the Smarties...

Lots more candy!

Playing with the neighbor boy, Andrew.

We went trunk or treating again last night. Cullen loves seeing all the other kids dressed up! When we got back to our car, he said "My turn"... he was just as happy handing out the candy to the kids as he was getting it! Although, he didn't want to hand out the candy to the kids with scary costumes (particularly one in a wart hog's mask)!

getting coordinated

Finn is really starting to concentrate on objects and bat at them.

my 'lil pumpkins

Here are some pictures of the boys with their pumpkins. Cullen had fun decorating Finn's pumpkin too. I'm planning on carving a pumpkin at some point too... we'll see how that goes!

trunk or treat round 1

eating a hot dog before trunk or treating

bring on the candy

Cullen was on cloud nine! (Finn was a little less than thrilled, but give him a few more years.) Not only did Cullen get to dress up as Spiderman, but he got lots of candy! I titled this post round 1 because this is the first of 3 trunk or treats we are going to. Not to mention a morning of Halloween fun at the Community Center on Friday.

hayrack ride

enjoying some apple cider

roasting marshmallows

riding the hayrack ride

Cullen can't contain his excitement!

Cullen is enjoying this time of year so much! Every time we got to the store, he begs us to go see the witch (Halloween aisle). He randomly brings it up to strangers too... for example- A stranger will talk to Cullen to say hi, or how are you doing, and Cullen immediately says- "I saw a witch, it scare me!" The person normally is taken back and wonders if he is referring to them as a witch. Therefore I have to explain that he likes to look at the Halloween decorations in the stores. Ohh, I wonder what little Cullen will have left to talk about once Halloween is over... never mind, he'll find something! :)

2 months old

I can't believe Finn is two months old now! He is growing and changing everyday. He has recently started sleeping anywhere from 6-8 hours for the first block at night- which is fabulous! He is also starting to talk and coo. He is still really interested in Cullen- which is good because Cullen can't seem to leave poor Finn alone. Finn is a pretty strong little guy, he's rolled over about 3 times now (from tummy to back).

Seattle

Finn and me at the top of the Space Needle

with our friends Faith, Adeline, Sonya, and Grayson

the view of downtown Seattle

Finn and I traveled to Seattle for a long weekend to see our friends. It was a great trip, I really enjoyed seeing everyone again! Cullen stayed behind, but it doesn't sound like he even realized I was gone. :)

fishing

PaPa took Cullen fishing for the first time Thursday. They didn't catch anything, but Cullen loved it.

early smiling

Finn smiling at Cullen.

I love baby yawns

He's getting pretty good at holding his head up.

Finn is almost 7 weeks old now. He's been smiling at us for about 2 weeks now, but I was finally able to catch one on the camera. He is really interested in his big brother (and rightfully so) he's always turning his head to look at him and he smiles at Cullen a ton. He's also starting to "talk" to us, which is fun.
